I have one big goal to reach by the end of next week (that is… by 4pm March 23.)
I’ll have this site up and running with only minor tweaks possibly necessary (but it has to be good enough to go live, for perfectionist me that means anything the public will see has to be done.)
I have to make those decisions about what content goes where, and what to do with archives (although that’s not a permanent decision, since I can choose to just leave the archives where they are and link to them from here.)
I need to have the design the way I want it. I have two themes I like, so I need to choose between them. I need to do my logo header and other graphics, and I have to do some css. Design is the fun part for me, so this isn’t a problem
This means I’m setting aside the project I started a few weeks back, or at least doing very little with it. I need a break from it anyway, I think I was focused in the wrong direction. If I’m going to write and build up a portfolio, I need to have some passion about my content. Very little passion there, it was more trying to fill a void I found- a void that’s probably there for good reason!
