Insurance Rant

After not paying a claim for over 2 years, our insurance company finally sent us a check last week, only to reverse themselves this week and ask for the bulk of the payment back. Arghhhhh.

  • Insurance sucks - it’s legalized gambling! Oh and wait until you get to the part where they decided they won’t pay “above and beyond reasonable and customary charges” ::insert eye roll here::

Oh, we’ve hit that part. Repeatedly. Doesn’t help that the insurance is out-of-state, and they argued that an emergency admission wasn’t one. D’oh.
