After not paying a claim for over 2 years, our insurance company finally sent us a check last week, only to reverse themselves this week and ask for the bulk of the payment back. Arghhhhh.

After not paying a claim for over 2 years, our insurance company finally sent us a check last week, only to reverse themselves this week and ask for the bulk of the payment back. Arghhhhh.

No Way! Can they really do this to you AFTER they have paid your claim?? That’s BEYOND shifty!! That’s terrible!! Hope things work out for you

Fortunately it appears that we aren’t responsible for the difference. But based on my experiences, I’m not quite counting on that yet!

Insurance sucks - it’s legalized gambling! Oh and wait until you get to the part where they decided they won’t pay “above and beyond reasonable and customary charges” ::insert eye roll here::

Oh, we’ve hit that part. Repeatedly. Doesn’t help that the insurance is out-of-state, and they argued that an emergency admission wasn’t one. D’oh.
