Early signs of summer

The middle and high schools are updating their calendars to adjust for less snow days- meaning the youngest finishes a day earlier than scheduled and the middle one gets a two day Memorial Day break.

The lawn is more of a weed garden. Most of our neighbors hire landscapers so they look just fab, even have annuals planted already in some cases. We have teenagers. Need to crack the whip on that I think.

Son number one finished up his finals yesterday, and later this afternoon Pat is heading up with my Vue to help him bring all his stuff home. I gave his bedroom a major cleaning, last time I’ll touch it till September :).

Tonight is the last night for my bowling league. It was a love/hate thing for me this year, I have to admit. I love that I get to spend time with friends I rarely see otherwise, but I just wasn’t into the bowling thing itself. It would help if the lanes would upgrade a bit- the scoring computers and screens are probably 15 years old.

The calendar is filling with weekend celebrations, vacations and mini-trips.

And I’m wearing flipflops.

Sounds as if things are gonna get busy! Just think of the dandelions as God’s flowers and don’t worry about them. I’ve been wearing flipflops too!
