Twitter-friend, NBC cameraman, new tech evangelist, and all around cool guy Jim Long is in Africa with POTUS and using his Nokia N95 phone/camera and service called Qik to live stream interviews with newsmakers, including this one with Sir Bob Geldof.
An awesome thing about Qik is that people watching live can comment and the person holding/on the camera can read and respond to the comments, as Sir Bob does here.
And anyone can do this. Anyone with a capable camera and something to show (or not, but good content would be nice.) When these cameras get cheaper, when good wifi is more available… wheee!
