Someone (in Spain apparently) has whipped up this cool little Twitter Poster. It shows the Twitter members with the most followers. The big thumbnails are the real power users with thousands of followers. The small ones are listed from most to least starting at the top left.
That’s me about 2/3 along the third row down with 420 followers at the moment. A lot of them are spammers I don’t follow back.
It’s kind of a silly thing, but I like that it’s visual, and gives you an idea of how small the Twitterverse really is. And you can guarantee that every person on this screen is at least somewhat interesting, because if they weren’t they wouldn’t have enough followers to be included. You don’t see the spammers who add 3000 people but are only followed back by 20 (there are some people who just follow everyone back.) So it’s a useful way for new Twitterers to find interesting people to follow. I plan to take some time myself to find some new voices in there.
TwitterPoster makes me feels speshul
