Ahhh, the 80's. I graduated from High School, went into the working world, got married and had a baby all before it was over. And I did have big hair, wore the jeans with the zippers and high heels, big belts and big button earrings! Those were the days!

I moved to NJ in 1980 and out in 1990. How did I ever escape the big hair phase? But like you, it was a big decade for me--started it as a college student in New York state and ended as a suburban mom on her way to Kentucky. I never saw it coming!

I love your perspective on the fun side of Twitter. I think too often people over think the whole social media thing. While i do think tools like Twitter have value beyond just "fun", isn't that part of what the "social" in social media is all about?

I hope you dig up on of the "new wave" Annie's!

I think were are pretty deranged group on Twitter. Intent on violating the LOL at the office rule by comments and photos. It's a good day when you open up that browser window and sit at your computer giggling at the silliness of this group.

I have always thought of Twitter as a running cocktail party where you bounce back and forth between people and conversations. Some conversations are just crazier than others I love being in the middle of it all.

:o)
