Today is the birthday of one my my dearest friends, someone I met online about 12 years ago. We’ve been fortunate to be able to meet in person a few times, despite the fact that I’m in New Jersey and she’s in Kentucky (she used to live here and comes back on occasion.)
She’s one of the few friends I have who truly appreciate my inner geek, and she’s an inspiration as a parent and as a person.
